Leading members of the FWA will make presentations at the inaugural Sports Media Forum in Cairo next month as part of the partnership between us and the Egypt Media Forum.
Chief Executive Paul McCarthy, former Chair Gerry Cox and national committee member Joel Beya, will present a range of media subjects at workshops for sports journalists from the region.
Other presentations will be led by pitchline reporter Geoff Shreeves, TV presenter Alison Bender and Tony Pastor from Goalhanger Podcasts.
The Sports Media Forum, supported by 30 Degrees North, is the first collaboration between the FWA and Egypt Media Forum, aiming to foster the exchange of expertise, enhance journalistic practices, and elevate media performance to new heights.
Paul McCarthy commented: “The FWA is delighted to take part in the inaugural Sports Media Forum. We have built close relationships in the region over the last few years and we see this as an important role in providing knowledge, expertise and insight from experienced FWA members.”
