England manager honoured after leading Lionesses to second successive European Championship
We are delighted that Sarina Wiegman has accepted our invitation to be the recipient of the FWA’s Tribute Night, which will be at The Landmark Hotel on Sunday January 25.
There can be no more deserving honouree than Sarina after the Lionesses lit up the summer with back-to-back European Championship triumphs. Not only is she the most successful England manager but, under her, the Lionesses have become the standard bearers for excellence as well as massively raising the profile of the women’s game.
In 2023 we honoured Sarina and the Lionesses for their achievements in winning Euro 2022, and this latest tribute is in recognition of her leading to England retaining their title as European Champions in Switzerland this summer.

The Tribute Night dinner will be held at The Landmark Hotel on Sunday January 25, 2026 and our Chief Executive Paul McCarthy is now taking table and individual ticket reservations.
Tables of 10 or 12 are available. For those buying individual tickets, as ever we will endeavour to seat you on tables with friends and colleagues wherever possible.
We are awaiting a final plate price from The Landmark but it is likely that ticket prices available to members will be around the same price as last year’s of £97 per person. We will confirm that as soon as possible along with a menu.
For those who want to reserve their places, please contact Paul McCarthy on [email protected] with your requests.
As per the Footballer of the Year dinner in May, table hosts and those buying individual places will receive a ticket in PDF form which you should distribute to all guests.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in January.
